The film metaphorically narrates the irrevocable moment of being-thrown-into-the-world, of entering the nakedness of being. The work consists of a single scene shot with a fixed camera. It shows an hostile, empty and silent landscape. Suddenly a helicopter flies from the horizon towards the camera.
Christian Niccoli (IT), born 1976. His work in video and installation has been exhibited, among others, at Transmediale in Berlin, Hamburg Short Film Festival, the 8th Baltic Biennial of Contemporary Art in Szczecin, Armenian Center for Contemporary Experimental Art in Yerevan and Microwave International Media Art Festival in Hong Kong. He lives and works in Berlin.
