REPEATED SITUATIONS
The video – exposed along with a book and an extra sound record – attempts to re-enact a journey in new time and space. The words “repetition” and “illumination” are key to find a suitable combination of movements and the right ways. The structure of the black drawing, sketched onto the pavement, stands for the mapped reality that becomes both an abstract route and a sign in itself. The action of the figure can be interpreted in two ways: as not only erasing the image, but rubbing it into.
