“What is virtuality? What is reality?” This is the concept that lies at the heart of this work, which incorporates mathematical formulas and elements of industrial design to create an abstract and geometric kinetic physical sculpture. After using a camera to capture a video of this sculpture, the recording is then calculated and decoded into a realistic sculpture of Buddha residing within a virtual image. In reality, you would not be able to see the original shape of the sculpture. In the virtual world, however, you are able to see the sculpture in its entirety.
