The installation draws from the once popular game of skipping rope. The relation got substituted by electric current. Originally i was thinking about this work in a very narrow, even personal context, concerning a direct relation. Over time i’ve expanded it to various areas, such as the treatment of a relation with reference to the transfer of minds or the in silico method, where the boundaries between what’s biological, and what’s technological disappear.

Szymon Wojtyła (PL), born 1990, a graduate of the faculty of painting and sculpture at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design. A performance, installation, and video artist. Took part in numerous exhibition and artistic projects in Poland, Germany, and Israel. He considers art as a mean to break the social status quo.
