THE MOST WONDERFUL WOMAN THAT I KNOW
Like a lot of my works, this one was created for autotherapeutic purposes. I’ve also wanted to create a film about immaturity, lack of understanding between the people that are closest to one another.
Karolina Spyrka (PL), born 1987. Graduated from the Department of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków under dr Grzegorz Sztwiertnia. Currently on her PhD studies at the same academy. She navigates through various fields of art, among others: painting, drawing, video, installation, street art. In her works Spyrka tackles the issues of getting to know one’s identity, the mother-child and man-woman relations. She took part in many group exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
